Liver is one of the largest glands of human body with the primary function of clearing out the blood toxins and supplying the purified blood to the heart. At times when the liver is not functioning well it results into the ailments which affects other organs as well. The usual signs of liver dysfunction include weight loss, nausea, extreme fatigue, swelling of abdomen, edema, urine darkening and yellowing of eyes and skin. Jaundice is also a symptom of liver dysfunction. The liver diseases can lead to number of other disorders which may include cirrhosis, fatty lever and hepatitis.

Ginger is useful in terms of providing the boost for other herbs by enhancing the ability of human body to assimilate them. Liver is responsible for breaking up of various substances from the diet into easily digestible form and supplying them into blood. But in this process it eventually breaks down the useful substances also from the different herbs. It is very helpful in the treatment and its healthy dose is present in every meal which is incorporated with the curry powder. It is actually bitter in taste and used for the stomach related disorders. This enhances the digestion along with the carminative effect.
