Arthritis is a highly common joint disorder that leads to pain, swelling, stiffness and inflammation in the joints. It is needless to say that it can make life really difficult.

Arthritis does not treat itself on its own. It is a condition that requires treatment in order to reduce pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints.
Here are some simple and easy ways to reduce joint pain:

Ice therapy is quite effective in reducing joint pain. Apply an ice pack to the affected joint for about 15 minutes every hour on the first day. On the second day, apply this pack for 5-6 times through the day for a duration of 15 minutes every time.
Do not apply ice directly to the joint, in order to avoid ice burn.
